Meg Miller is a Mixed Media Artist & Interior Designer who believes that art isn’t just for your walls. It should find its way into and onto every surface of your home, office and life. In addition to Fine Art, she has created a line of Textiles and Home Goods
She combines her passion for Pop Art and Wabi Sabi (finding beauty in the imperfect and impermanent)
Meg fancies herself an “urban archaeologist” who discovers & uncovers beauty in the “unseen” and mundane world around us, by showing the world to itself through her art & design. She incorportates vintage images & materials that she layers in her art and home decor. She also photographs the hidden souls of cities that she lives in or visits. She captures the destroyed, weathered, graffiti’d, rusted, peeling and textured layers on walls, streets and sidewalks of a city that people walk by every day, but never truly “see.” The inherent beauty in these images serve as backdrops on which she collages layers of images and found objects from vintage magazines, billboards, wallpaper, junk mail, books & collected oddities
